  1. Jeremy says:

Quite helpful and quite informative. Thanks kindly.

  2. Bryn says:

Very nice, looking at that species list from Ndumo Game Reserve. I definitely need to make a plan to head to that area in the near future. Lots of lifers to be had up in that region.

  3. Mark Wing says:

Ken, would be nice to have directions or a key to a map next to or in the content of each birding site?

  4. Anthony Stidolph says:

Impressive list of places visited, Ken. You deserve to be classed among the great modern explorers. Stidy
    Still more to see though!

    • Ken says:

Well so many of them have been with you Stidy! I would say I am the Stanley to your Livingstone.
And there are indeed so many more places to explore! I’m trying to find the time & the money to do a trip to Etosha over and above our usual summer trips.

  • Thought of the Day

Philippians 2:13 – “For it is God who works in you to will [to make you want to] and to act according to his good purpose.”

When you realise that God is at work within you, and are determined to obey him in all things, God becomes your partner in the art of living. Incredible things start to happen in your life. Obstacles either vanish, or you approach them with strength and wisdom from God. New prospects open in your life, extending your vision. You are filled with inspiration that unfolds more clearly as you move forward, holding God’s hand.” – Solly Ozrovech, A Shelter From The Storm

But not living your life according to God’s will leads to frustration as you go down blind alleys in your own strength, more conscious of your failures than your victories. You will have to force every door open and few things seem to work out well for you.
